- 35 weeks!
- How far along? 35 weeks 2 days
- Weight Gain/Loss: I had a huge jump in weight at last weeks appt - 8 lbs! It worried me some but the dr wasn't concerned at all. Hopefully I don't continue at that rate!
- Sleep: seems better recently - not sure why but I'll take it!
- Best moment this week: the broncos win! We are Super Bowl bound!
- Movement: She still seems to be moving less than before, but our dr did a non stress test and she passed with flying colors. All my kick counts are fine as well so I'm sure she's just getting cramped.
- Food Cravings: milkshakes and ice cream :)
- Food Aversions: nothing I can think of
- Belly Button: some days it looks like it's going to pop out for sure!
- Stretch Marks: Not yet
- Symptoms: ive noticed more joint popping, especially in my hips lately
- What I miss: Beer. A lot. Oh I'm so close! I also miss rolling over in bed without it being a production :)
- What I’m looking forward to: I am so ready to meet her!
- Nursery update: we are so close to being done! We made a ton of progress in the last two weeks. We took a step backward with the light fixture and we have to replace it but that's the only main thing left
- Completed: paint, closet, crib, dresser, rocking chair, carpet, curtains, shelves
- To-do list: hang bookshelves, order and hang new light fixture, make crib skirt and mobile, hang art
- Last week's to-do list:1. Touch up paint - check2. Put together dresser and put away clothes, etc. - check3. Hang curtains, shelves - check4. Organize family room so I can access and use my sewing machine - we made a dent so maybe this weekend it'll be done5. Put together gifted items (swing, car seat, stroller, pack and play) - check, thanks to papa :)6. Make cradle sheets and crib skirt - I'm going to use regular bassinet sheets and shrink them down a bit so I'm checking that off the list! Still need to figure out the crib skirtRecent purchases: I basically bought everything left on our registry, plus a little more! Diaper pail, tub, K'tan carrier, and stroller adapter were the main items. I also bought some waterproof pads and crib protectors, and I swallowed my pride and found a diaper bag I can live with. I couldn't handle the cheesy, plasticky, childish bags that are everywhere. The bag I wanted was $200 and I could swallow my pride better than that price, so I found a somewhat-happy-medium.

Bump date {33 weeks}

- 33 weeks!
- How far along? 33 weeks 5 days
- Weight Gain/Loss: on track I imagine - next weigh-in is Wednesday
- Sleep: I've seen 3 am more times this this week than I care to count.
- Best moment this week: So many! My baby shower was aaaamazing! It deserves it's own post :) We also started our birth class, and found a pediatrician.
- Movement: less movement this week which I plan on asking my dr about. She's still moving enough whenever I do kick counts so it's probably just her running out of room but I want to make sure.
- Food Cravings: sweets but not quite as bad as it's been.
- Food Aversions: the smell of old coffee. Ugh
- Belly Button: Still hasn't popped but it might.
- Stretch Marks: Not yet
- Symptoms: tired, and getting over this awful chest cold. Finally starting to feel better though.
- What I miss: I'd love a beer or glass of wine. I'm so close!
- What I’m looking forward to: our first baby class is on Monday, my baby shower next weekend and finishing the nursery! I'm hoping we will have the nursery almost wrapped up by next weekend, aside from wall art and the stinking rocker that we can't find.
- Nursery update: not much progress this week. I did get the closet organizers set up, but nothing put away yet. I went to Ikea last weekend to purchase the dresser and they were OUT. I was super upset and it meant another 45 minute trek to south Denver on Friday to get it by myself. That was a mess. I did it though, so now Luke and I just need to put it together so I can put. things. away. We also went ahead and purchased the La-Z-Boy rocker/recliner even though it doesn't match. We decided that I will probably spend so much time in the living room that it makes just as much sense to put it there and put the small cream rocking chair that belonged to my great grandma in the nursery. At least we have a rocker in both rooms that way. I also ordered a few prints from Etsy sellers and am waiting for them to be delivered! From last week's to-do list, I'm doing okay!
- Last week's to-do list:1. Find a rocker! -check2. Touch up paint3. Put together crib, hang curtains, put together closet organizers -partial check - crib is up and organizers are set up4. Wash baby clothes/blankets, put away before the onslaught that next week's baby shower will bring - mostly checked - I missed a few things5. Find a pouf ottoman and order wall art -no pouf, but ordered art6. Continue packing hospital bag -almost done with the bags! Waiting on a diaper bag to show upThis week's to-do list:1. Touch up paint2. Put together dresser and put away clothes, etc.3. Hang curtains, shelves4. Organize family room so I can access and use my sewing machine5. Put together gifted items (swing, car seat, stroller, pack and play)6. Make cradle sheets and crib skirtRecent purchase: As I mentioned, I went to Ikea (twice) and bought her dresser, picture ledges for book shelves (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20126065), Lack wall shelves (http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/70103622/#/50103618), and her rockerLa-Z-Boy Owen Reclina-Rocker - ours is similar but doesn't have the trim splitting the cushions in thirds. We got a great deal on the rocker because the color was being discontinued, therefore saving us $300!Pictures of the week:I'm really excited to share pictures of the baby shower in another post, but here is a sneak peek shared by the bakery that did our cake:Luke was promoted to staff sergeant at drill this month so I got up ridiculously early to see it!I am soooo proud of how hard he works! It's great for him to receive this promotion before he ends his time with the Marines in July this year. This side by side comparison shows only TWO WEEKS difference! 31 weeks and 33 weeks.

Bump date {32 weeks}
- How far along? 32 weeks 2 days
- Weight Gain/Loss: +3 lbs at my recent dr appt, +18 lbs total so far
- Sleep: I want more
- Best moment this week: in the past two weeks, Christmas was really great! New Years was a little more than I planned, but was pretty fun overall. I am paying for it with a sore throat two days later now!
- Movement: lots of rolling, hiccups, and some pretty big "freak out" kicks and punches that feel like she's trying to make a break for it
- Food Cravings: the usual.
- Food Aversions: nothing I can think of
- Belly Button: ALMOST flat. Ugh
- Stretch Marks: No new ones yet!
- Symptoms: just tired for the most part.
- What I miss: I'm a broken record - sleeping through the night
- What I’m looking forward to: our first baby class is on Monday, my baby shower next weekend and finishing the nursery! I'm hoping we will have the nursery almost wrapped up by next weekend, aside from wall art and the stinking rocker that we can't find.
- Nursery update: my mom finished painting this week! The only thing needed is a little touch up, but here it is!
- Ignore the white spot, that's glare from the window.
- That lamp kills me - it's the equivalent of a tutu! It's hard to get a good picture of the blue but it's pretty similar to this:Sherwin Williams CalypsoI love seeing her room from the living room, peeking through the door :)This week's to-do list:1. Find a rocker!2. Touch up paint3. Put together crib, hang curtains, put together closet organizers4. Wash baby clothes/blankets, put away before the onslaught that next week's baby shower will bring5. Find a pouf ottoman and order wall art6. Continue packing hospital bagRecent purchases: a backup diaper bag, a custom sized cradle mattress, and the crib!Boken diaper bagBabyletto Hudson crib in whiteAbaby.com makes custom sized mattresses, and since the cradle is one that was hand built for my baby sister, it never had a true mattress. It's a little bit of a funky shape so I'm hoping the 15.5" x 28" x 2" mattress will work well. Here's a recent picture too, but unfortunately Luke and I took no pictures on Christmas OR New Years. We suck.
